Handle quoted fields, multiline text and Unicode. Preserve leading zeros as strings. Detect common delimiters, with an explicit override for ambiguous files.

Retry-safe inventory import
A lost acknowledgement after a database commit should not add inventory twice. A stable event ID and one transaction keep repeated local attempts from repeating the change.
